AK Interactive: Rust Effect (AK11264) - SLOW SHIPPING, RESTRICTIONS

This kit allows you to recreate highly realistic rust effects at scale on models and miniatures. Suitable for modeling and crafts.

1. Apply the special acrylic paint (AK11266) with a brush on the piece where the effect is desired.
2. Once dry, apply the Oxidizing Agent (AK11268)* over the paint.
3. Let it sit for a while to see the final effect as the oxidation occurs due to a natural reaction with air.

* The Oxidizing Agent can be diluted with water to achieve more subtle results on the pieces. The effect can be completed with pigments or other products to obtain greater chromatic richness.

This item is hazmat and cannot ship by air. Checkout only offers ground options that are allowed for hazmat.

For the contiguous U.S., available options are typically:

• Flat-rate Economy or Free Economy Shipping (if your order qualifies)
• USPS Ground Advantage
• UPS Ground (usually the more reliable transit option)

Flat-rate Economy / Free Economy / USPS Ground Advantage orders ship via USPS hazmat ground. Estimated transit is often quoted as 2–6 business days, but delays are common and 2–3 weeks is not unusual. UPS Ground is usually more reliable (still not “fast,” unless you're close to Northern California).

Also not available: international shipping, FPO/APO/DPO, and rural Alaskan ZIP codes served only by air. Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories may take up to ~26 days.
